Application Virtualization Services Developer


The role of a Senior Application Virtualization Services Administrator is to maintain customized in the program environment. Manage and maintain tailored COTS solutions of virtualized application products using App-V and XenApp.


  • Serve as an escalation point for operational support for all issues related to the application virtualization solutions.
  • Optimize performance and availability through implementing appropriate technical solutions.
  • Work directly with Vendor and Engineering on improvements of the project’s solutions.
  • Generate solutions to complex problems which integrate into the program environment.
  • Identify issues and create improvement processes to help with the reduction of incident outage times.
  • Provide On ‐ the ‐ Job training to staff, as needed.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of all processes associated with administration of the network and duties performed by network & system administrators.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ work experience or equivalent experience to include the following areas:
    • Hyper-V SCVMM (2012 preferred)  
    • Microsoft Server (2012 R2 preferred)  
    • App—V (Verison 5.x preferred)  
    • Xen Desktop/App (Citrix Storefront)  
    • PowerShell Scripting
  • Strong analytical skills as well as proficiency at troubleshooting heterogeneous computing environments.
  • Candidate must be an effective communicator with an independent, self-starting attitude.
  • Technical documentation skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Security Clearance.
  • 8570 compliant (Within 90 days of hire)
  • Microsoft Back-end Office (Email, Skype for Business)
  • Microsoft DHCP/DNS Server
  • Active Directory
  • SQL Database 2014
  • Citrix XenDesktop 7
